Specialist Skills

Customer satisfaction/ service delivery / loyalty. Areas of interest are public health, environment, public policy.

History

BSc (Psychology) Hons from the University of Sydney. I spent the first 3 years of my career at ANOP Research, Sydney. My work consisted primarily of customer satisfaction, loyalty, brand and ad tracking before I left for a sabbatical in London in 2005. After working in the social research division of Ipsos MORI where I focused on social and government research, evaluating policy and social attitudes, I returned to Sydney and joined Blue Moon. Throughout my career I have used a wide range of research methodologies including, but not limited to, face-to-face, online, post and CATI Quant projects as well as Qual depths, groups and workshops.

Interests

I have a preoccupation with wildlife, particularly exotic species, this combines nicely with a desire for travelling to far flung corners of the globe. My weekends involve sun, surf and live sporting events as much as possible.

Rugby is the game they play in heaven - and with good reason too.

Adam Sinclair,
Associate Director

Email: asinclair@bluemoonresearch.com.au

Specialist skills

Adam’s skills are primarily quantitative. In particular, he has been involved with the development of new brands in the contestable energy sector. Although the successful development of brands is a major area of interest for Adam, the implementation of Choice Models has become a focus in recent years.

History

Adam has 15 years experience in the research industry, the last 7 of which have been in Australia. In his earlier career he worked for two of the UK’s major agencies, namely NOP and MORI. At NOP he was involved with the development of its Financial Services arm. At MORI, Adam produced ground breaking work for the Bank of England (for which he was formally commended) during the time of the building society demutualisations. More recently, Adam was Director of Finance & Business Services at TNS Melbourne responsible for a range of blue chip clients. Adam’s work has included new market entry, NPD, brand and advertising development and tracking and customer service. This has generally been for the financial services and utility industries within both the B2B and B2C markets.

Interests

Although his playing days are over, Adam is still a keen football fan (go Melbourne Victory!) but has also grown to love AFL and is a Saints’ supporter. Adam attempts to keep fit through running, cycling, swimming and tennis with varying degrees of success.
