Mark is a qual specialist with over 15 years in research. In that time he has conducted 100s of studies for commercial, business-to-business and government clients. In recent years he has worked predominantly in FMCG, automotive, retail and financial services. His particular areas of interest are brand, strategy and communications development, brand and product positioning and innovation.
Always keen to stay abreast of the latest techniques, Mark was an ‘early adopter' of the internet as a means of conducting qualitative research. In 2003 he was awarded the AMSRS annual conference Best Paper Award for ‘Online Qual: Is it Really of any Use?'
Prior to joining GfK bluemoon, Mark developed his skills with the UNSW and Environmetrics. Before entering the world of research, he was an English teacher, working in Indonesia and Australia.
When not working Mark punishes himself with regular Bikram ‘Hot' Yoga classes, and indulges his love of cooking and fine wines.
